About the Project
For the final assessment of Dr. Eleni Kalantidou's Social Innovation class, as a group we had to come up with a proposal for a social enterprise based on theoretical and practical components presented and discussed in the classroom. The plan needed to address a social problem and adopt an approach to generate social impact by design or creative practices, put forth a short term and long term strategy and also include a business plan.

Design Concept
Our team of 3 chose to focus on a problem faced by international students in Australia, namely the issue of unemployment, more specifically the lack of career support, training and placement. We developed the concept of InterWeave which would serve as a training program and placement service dedicated to "weaving" international students seamlessly into the Australian job market.

Division of Workload
Our team divided tasks based on our individual expertise. All members contributed to the research, data collection and analysis as well as the ideation of concepts. I took on the role of graphic designer and brand designer while Natsumi Saito designed the website UIs and prototype.

Final Output
The final output consisted of research paper and design proposal document, a pitch deck, a website prototype built using Figma, and design application mock-ups. The full research paper and proposal can be accessed here.
